Formed in 2009, this Quartet is a highly experienced and popular string ensemble hailing from London. Equally at home performing for country house weddings or backing a pop band on stage, their infectious enthusiasm for performing and ability to arrange favourite songs on request stands them apart from the rest. Repertoire ranges from traditional classical music such as Pachelbel's Canon in D to modern pop and jazz arrangements including works by Queen, Elbow and Adele.
Vaults Quartet formed in 2009 and have enjoyed playing for a wide variety of weddings and events since. We have an enthusiasm for new music (able to arrange a couple’s favourite song specifically for their big day) as well as the favourite classical works. Vaults Quartet can also be found backing urban and pop acts on stages around the world.
We are young, dynamic and have a lot of fun playing a wide variety of music!
Our public performances mainly consist of backing pop musicians so wouldn’t really be representative of our wedding repertoire, however there are a couple of audio recordings on our website.
Absolutely! As mentioned above we are able to arrange favourite songs in advance of the day, and then if someone in the wedding party would like to hear something from our usual repertoire we will of course play it for them.
Yes we usually wear long black dresses and our male cellist wears a black suit. We are sometimes asked to wear colourful dresses instead, which we are happy to do so when possible.
We are able to provide up to 3 hours music, this can be for ceremony and reception or as background music for the wedding breakfast.
More requests for chart and Bollywood music. Both of which we are able to provide!
Live classical music during the day, a strong soul voice in the evening and fireworks at nighttime!
