Wedding celebrant Sarah can help you celebrate your dream wedding anywhere at any time

Celebrant Sarah skilfully crafts and conducts the most beautiful and bespoke Wedding Ceremonies. I help couples to find the right words and will offer you a book of a thousand choices: candles and quotations, poems and promises, rituals and readings, music and magic. Then, I will write the perfect ceremony just for you.

No two ceremonies are the same; each is individually written.

Couples can be mixed faith, no faith, interfaith, humanist, gay or straight, LGBTQ, traditional or modern. Spiritual but not religious - for a truly heartfelt ceremony; love is all you need.

I am a celebrant for weddings, civil partnerships, renewal of vows, baby naming or adoption.

In a forest, by the sea, in your home – it’s your choice. You can celebrate your wedding any time, any place, anywhere. I will conduct the ceremony of your dreams.

What is a celebrant and why do people choose you over other ceremony options?
More and more couples are choosing to get married in beautiful venues (like Bijou venues) or by the sea, in a forest, a garden etc.  With a registrar, you must marry in the rooms they specify, but with a celebrant, you can get married anywhere you choose!

What qualifications do you have?
I am a qualified and Registered Wedding Celebrant which means that I am trained in writing and performing beautiful wedding ceremonies. Using a Celebrant gives you a more beautiful and personalised ceremony. No two ceremonies are the same; each is individually written, just for you.

Will the couple be legally married?
Yes, couples go to the Registry Office beforehand to get the formalities done so that the marriage is legal.  You can do this at any time – the day before, the week before, or after work!
Then, in front of all your family and friends, you celebrate their celebrant wedding ceremony with me.

Where can a ceremony be held?
Anywhere you choose! That is the beauty of having a Celebrant. I have performed weddings under two oak trees in a sunning Country Park, in a bluebell wood, on an island, in their parent’s garden, and under a canopy of stars at midnight.  My brides have arrived on horseback, in motorbike side cars, and in traditional limousines. Anywhere, any time. It is your choice!

Can couples add religious elements into the service? Are you open to performing inter-faith ceremonies?
Yes, couples can be mixed faith, no faith, interfaith, humanist, gay or straight, traditional or modern. I don’t mind & I don’t judge, for ‘Mine is the religion of love’ (Rumi)
I have a special love of gay and LGBTQ weddings, and have celebrated many of their weddings.
Spiritual but not religious - for a truly heartfelt ceremony; love is all you need.
I have married couples in old chapels, and in gardens,  by the sea and in forests.

What is the usual length of your ceremonies?
Mostly, they are about 30-40 minutes, but it is however long you need. Your ceremony can include readings, music or poems by friends or relatives.
I only do one wedding a day, so I can be there for as long as you need.

Are there any restrictions a couple needs to be aware of?
No, Couples can be mixed faith, no faith, interfaith, humanist, gay or straight, LGBTQ, traditional or modern. Spiritual but not religious - for a truly heartfelt ceremony.

What information do you need to know from the couple before the day?
I will spend at least an hour (normally 2 or 3 hours) with each couple – finding out all about them and their story – from first meeting, to proposal, to future dreams. Then, I write the perfect ceremony – just for you! I help couples to find the right words and will offer you a book of a thousand choices. You can make as many changes as you like, until you both are completely happy.
