The Diamond Skyline Orchestra can perform across all four Bijou Wedding Venues
The Diamond Skyline Orchestra can play big band music or anything unique that you wish for your wedding

How would you describe your style and what makes you unique?
We have arguably the largest repertoire in the country, with nearly 100 years of live music to choose from. Our swing outfits can perform all of the classic charts from Sinatra and the Rat Pack. Our Party Band can perform anything from the 60s to the current charts. What makes us unique is that we can mix and match swing and pop, you don't just have to have one or the other – this is perfect for when you have a wider age range with your guests.

Can couples come and see you perform live before booking you?
Yes, the big band performs once a month at a jazz club in Soho. The party band often performs in Shoreditch (London), but these public performances are less frequent.

Do you take requests?
We offer a complimentary song that is not already on our list – this is great if you have something unique in mind for your first dance.

Do you have a dress code?
We will always be dressed smart. Usually black suits and ties, but if it is just swing music then probably DJs.

How long is your set?
We have two options: 2 x 60 minutes or 3 x 40 minutes

If you could perform for any celebrity, who would it be for and why?
We performed for the wedding of Strictly Come Dancing stars Kevin and Karen Clifton in July 2016, which was covered by Hello! magazine. That was a fantastic day as the majority of their friends were professional dancers, so the dance floor was packed the whole night. As for an ideal celebrity…anybody who appreciates live music!

If you were getting married, what would be your idea of ultimate entertainment?
We would make sure that we had a large budget for music. The evening party is what really makes the wedding special. This is where you can really relax after all the formalities, and this is where the fun is really had! A band that could cover all bases of music would be a must!

How far in advance should couples book you?
We do take bookings over a year in advance, so ideally as soon as possible. It can be risky to try and book with less than 6 months, especially if you plan on getting married during the summer months.
