My main passion in life is clothes and I have been designing and creating ladies garments and wedding dresses for many years. I can alter wedding dresses as well as create them from scratch.
How long have you been a seamstress for?
I have been a seamstress for over 25 years.
Are you happy to alter any style of wedding dress?
I am happy to alter any style of wedding dress, in any type of fabric.
How much notice do you need in order to re-style a wedding dress?
Ideally, I'd need at least one months notice so I can organise my schedule but I always do my best and never refuse a customer
Are you happy to re-style a wedding dress from any designer?
I am happy to re-style any style of wedding dress; I like a good challenge!
Do you work with all types of material?
I’ve worked with all types of materials over my 25 years’ worth of experience, so am happy to re-style a wedding dress designed in any fabric.
Are you happy for brides to visit you in order to explain exactly what they need in terms of re-styling?
I am more than happy to see the brides at my studio and always try to accommodate them.
Do you alter bridesmaids dresses and mother of the brides outfits as well?
I can alter bridesmaids and mother of the bride outfits - in fact, I alter all types of garments.
Every request will be different, but on average, how long does it take to modify a wedding dress?
Depending on the complexity of the changes I have to make to a wedding dress, an alteration can take me from 1-2 hours, to several hours. The longest alteration I made, took me 15 hours.
